Myslím, že Pán Prstenů je velmi dobrý film.Ze začátku se mi moc nelíbil kvůli rychlému střihu a velkém počtu akčních scén. Ale postupem času musím uznat, že je vizuálně nádherně zpracovaný. Velkou roli v tom má Středozem alias Nový Zéland, krásná hudba (třeba ta z Lórienu je zvlášť vydařená) i výkony herců. Je sice pravda, že na oscara byl nominován jen Ian McKellen. (a vřele doufám, že ho dostane) Ale co byste po akademicích chtěli-pokud nehrajete duševně chorého, oscara nedostanete. No, to, co mi připadalo nejvíce zdařilé, zhrnu to do několika bodů:
-Gandalf. Jeho moc se skrývala pod tváří ustaraného, zábavného i trochu zbrklého kouzelníka. Zvlášť se mi líbila scéna v Dně Pytle- jak vrážel hlavou do lustru. Ale ten jeho lesk v očích…ty jiskřičky…Doufám, že ho oscar nemine.
-Galadriel. Nádherná, vznešená, tajemná, moudrá, mocná. Jediná Cate Blanchett je hodna role nadpozemsky krásné elfky. A její hlas…
-Boromir. Toho jsem v knížce moc ráda neměla, ale ve filmu jsem ho litovala. Velmi dojemná je ta scéna, kdy umírá. Možná se mi líbil proto, že Sean Bean je mi nesmírně sympatický.
-Hobiti. Zábavní jedlíci. Opravdoví hobiti.
-Lothlórien. Nádherná země s opravdovými elfy.
-Skřeti. Hlavně ti s červenýma a zelenýma očima.
-Úvod. The world is changed. I feel it in a watter. I feel it in the earth…
Ale jsou tu i věci, které se mi nelíbily. Vévodí jim asi boj Sarumana s Gandalfem na Orthanku. No, když už se museli fimaři předvést, tak jim to odpustím. Jinak velice obdivuju Petera Jacksona a těším se strašně na Dvě věže a Návrat krále.

Palace Cinemas Slovanský dům mají na programu maraton všech rozšířených verzí Pána prstenů. Bohužel startuje o půlnoci z 18. na 19. ledna (úterý na středu), což při dvanácti hodinách filmu není dvakrát ideální čas. Tohle rozhodně není poslední příležitost, takže se nemusíte snažit zlikvidovat v takto nelidský termín a v klidu můžete počkat. A nebo zajít jen na rozšířený Návrat krále...
